The Georgia Veterinarian
For more than 65 years, The Georgia Veterinarian has been providing up-to-date information to Georgia's veterinarians and it continues to grow with the profession. The publication is highly-valued by GVMA members and is continually cited as one of the top benefits of membership.
The Georgia Veterinarian is published quarterly by the association in January, April, July and October. As of November 2006, it reached more than 3,000* veterinarians, technicians, students, and industry leaders throughout Georgia, the Southeast and the nation. The publication is free to all GVMA members.

Subscriptions
Subscriptions are available for $30 per year. International subscriptions are $60 per year.
E-News Digest
This new feature is delivered via email to all members twice per month on Tuesdays. It includes current animal welfare information, animal health alerts, web based reports, articles and downloads, and important notices pertinent to veterinarians.

GVMA Membership Directory
All GVMA members receive one issue of the annual membership directory. This important booklet contains listings of all GVMA members, including sorting by city or by hospital. It also includes lists of important phone numbers and websites veterinarians use on a regular basis, AVMA contacts, local veterinary group numbers, and information on the State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Finally, all critical information of the association is provided, such as: GVMA Board members and officers, committees, the mission statement, award winners, and the constitution and bylaws. This is one very important book to have.
