About Foundation Day
GVMA Foundation Day happens each year on the first Tuesday in May.

Foundation Day is the largest source of revenue for the GVMA Foundation, nearly $200,000 for worthy causes since its inception in 2004.

To help us to better serve as the “heart” of Georgia’s veterinary professionals, each veterinary practice is asked annually to contribute 10% of its gross receipts for the day. If you do not own a business, you are encouraged to ask your employer to participate or simply make a donation. This goal is only obtainable with the help of all Georgia veterinarians.
