GVMA needs your help in promoting the Atlanta Dog Jog

In 2011, the GVMA will be coordinating and promoting the Atlanta Dog Jog - previously run by the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Society. The 24th annual Atlanta Dog Jog, a one and two mile walk/run for pets and their owners, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30 at Piedmont Park in midtown Atlanta. Veterinarians from all over the state are encouraged to participate, and the GVMA is seeking the help of veterinarians and staff in promoting this great event, which benefits Canine Assistants.

Distribute a flyer
GVMA has created a flyer you can copy and provide to clients or place in waiting areas and other places where pet owners will read it.

Bring your team
Whether you call it team building or just an opportunity to promote your clinic, bring your veterinary team to participate and show your support for a good event and a great cause.

Volunteer
The GVMA is also seeking volunteers to help distribute posters to pet-related businesses prior to the event, or to assist on race-day with registration, traffic flow, and other event activities. If you would like to volunteer please contact the GVMA at gvma@gvma.net or 678-309-9800.
