The 2018 Georgia Legislative Session began January 8 and ended just after midnight on March 27. For the first time in several years, the House and Senate returned to their traditional sine die adjournment method – the Lt. Governor and Speaker ordered the chamber doors to be opened and then gaveled the session to a close simultaneously.
